What are the strengths of the genre?
I don’t really know.
What are the weaknesses of the genre?
Still don’t really know
How does it compare to writing fiction?
Well because fiction is false a non true story it could have things that is true but the whole story isn’t.
What surprised you about the writing personal essays?
I don’t know it was something new. Something I’ve never did before. It wasn’t a challenge but it took me awhile to figure something out.
Would you voluntarily tackle it again?
Naw! Because it’s not really my thing poems, short stories, and etc....
What is your favorite piece that you’ve written? Talk about why it’s your favorite piece.
My favorite piece that I’ve ever wrote was “my light that came just in time”
The whole reason why it’s my favorite is because i wrote that poem when I was 9 years-old.
What has been your favorite genre?
I don’t know still
Which piece was the greatest challenge for you to write? Explain why.
My most difficult and greatest challenge was my metaphor poem now that was a challenge.
Is there a piece you wrote that, in reflection, you didn’t care for? Explain.
yeah but I can’t remember it.
What skill from creative writing do you think you will use in other forms of writing/ outside of class. Tell why.
i know now how to writing in metaphor, personal essays, and plays etc.....

assignment (plays or storys)
1. How important is theme in what you write? Does a great piece of literature need to express an idea? Explain your thoughts on the matter using examples from things you've read. In your response, address the opposing viewpoint. (Write at least 100 words.)
The importance in my theme is for the reader or the audience to feel what my characters are feeling and to experience there lives and up comings. I think that a great piece of literature should have somewhat of a meaning and idea or it would just be everywhere. My thoughts on if a good piece of writing should have a theme my answer is yes you have to have a theme in order to express what is going on. The characters and the plots I think that what really understands to the audience is if there is a theme. But there is some plays or stories that might not have a theme or need a theme so if you can make a story or a play without a theme than so be it just as long as it catches the readers or audience’s attention.
2. Great works of literature can last a long time. Jane Austen's novels (including Pride and Prejudice, Emma, and Sense and Sensibility) are still popular almost 200 years after they were first published. Anne Bradstreet's poems have survived about 400 years. The works of Greek playwright Euripides (who wrote Medea) have survived for over 2000 years. What do you think causes great literary works to live forever? Could you ever foresee yourself writing something that lasts that long (Write at least 75 words.)
I think the reason why these play last forever is because the way that the stories touches the reader they put them in the moment in how and what is happening. even though some of the stories have some bad events but they show that no matter what happens to you just dust yourself off and try again never give up what you believe in what people say is there opinion and don’t let them effect you and your thoughts.
3. If you could have one long-lasting impact on the world around you, what would you want it to be? Explain why that is important to you and how, as a writer, you could have the chance to make that impact. (Write at least 100 words.)
Well I want to have a huge impact on the society today just knowing that what you’ve said and done can change everything around you and make it better. I will be happy if I just am able to write something and someone reads it and it changes there whole life in a good way that right there will just make me so excited that what I wrote changed somebody’s life. Just thinking about it makes me so happy. but I really want to do something like that play poem book anything a opinion I would love for someone to come up to me a say you’ve changed my life dramatically. Than I could died happy.

fear questions
Fear Questions:
1. Do you like to be scared? Why or why not? In what settings are you okay with being frightened?
if I know the person and they don’t scare me to the extreme...than I’m cool and I’m am ok with being scared I mean you have to have a little fright and excitement in your life.
2. What scares you? Are there things you fear? Are there things in our world you consider horrific? These do not have to be about ghosts or monsters. (One of Stephen King's bestselling horror novels was about a dog.) Perhaps you are afraid to ski or afraid of snakes. Maybe you hate being alone in your house at night. Maybe you are afraid of big cities. Where do your fears come from? Are you more scared by blood and guts terror or by subtle the possibility of something horrible happening?
I am most scared of is ghost seen someone looking over me. My most fear is being alone not like no friend but just knowing that you don’t have some to guide you like my mom. I think that is my big most ultimate fear is losing my mom cause we been through so much she is my back bone...so I can endure anything heights, ghost, and even friends scaring me thing to ever thinking that I will never see my mom again.
3. What, in your opinion, is a good definition for madness? What would a person have to do to be considered "mad" by you?
A good definition of madness is when someone goes to the intent to go out side there mind and reality is now fantasy. There anger is more enraged and jealousy. And simple thing that is as little as the tip of a pencil would make it into the top of a mountain. Than they are considered mad to me.
4. Poe writes about a man driven to madness. What drives people to madness today in your opinion? How does someone go from seemingly normal to insane (at least temporarily)? Anything now work, family, relatives, friends, everyday things drive anybody mad even the nicest people eventually. Something you would never believe.

you move with the wind so calm
and smooth,while the night
turns to day.
oh im goin to miss you
i sit here watchin the moon
just always know your soft
smooth waves i'll miss more.

*RAIN*
your are what i watch
when you come,
all my feelings fall out.
you bring me laughter
you bring me pain
i sit and watch you.
while your dropplets follow
the path of my pain
and tears.
you are also my relief
you are my fears.
i love when you come
but you bring dark clouds
you bring loud noise and no sun.
your sound goes from
my head to my toes.
i close my eyes and
think of life.
soft music my lights
dem but still so bright.
when you leave it's sad
and beautiful.
the flowers open
the chlidren play
they all chant
"rain rain go away"
i smile knowing you'll
come another day.
